Classic Mystery Guide "A Guide to Classic Mystery and Detection", by Michael E. Grost, contains 'reading lists and essays on great mysteries, mainly of the pre 1960 era'. The subject matter is quite comprehensive up to that point (approximately Poe to Perry Mason), and the author knows the genre well. Mysterious Home Page A guide to mystery resources on the Internet.
